Return & Refund Policy

1. General Policy
Edutechra Foundation is a Section-8 not-for-profit organization. Donations and voluntary contributions made to Edutechra Foundation are generally treated as final and are normally non-returnable and non-refundable.
Since donations are made voluntarily to support charitable, educational, and social initiatives, no physical goods are being sold or returned through the donation process. Therefore, a standard product return policy does not apply.
2. When Refunds May Be Considered
Refunds may be considered only in exceptional and genuine cases, subject to verification by Edutechra Foundation. Such cases may include:
- Duplicate payment made for the same donation due to technical error.
- Incorrect amount charged due to payment gateway or technical issue.
- Unauthorized transaction reported by the donor, subject to review and supporting evidence.
- Payment failure cases where the amount was debited from the donor but the transaction was not successfully recorded.
3. Cases Where Refunds Will Normally Not Be Allowed
- If the donor changes their mind after successfully making the donation.
- If the donor made the contribution voluntarily to support a campaign, cause, or program.
- If incorrect donor details were entered by the donor at the time of payment, without gateway failure.
- If the request is made after an unreasonable delay and transaction verification is no longer feasible.
4. Refund Request Process
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, you must contact us within 7 days of the transaction date with complete details for verification.
- Donor name
- Registered email address
- Mobile number
- Transaction ID / payment reference
- Date of transaction
- Amount paid
- Reason for refund request
- Screenshot or proof of transaction, if available
5. Review and Approval
All refund requests are subject to internal verification by Edutechra Foundation. Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval. The Foundation reserves the right to approve or reject a refund request after examining the facts, payment status, gateway response, and supporting documents.
6. Processing Timeline
If a refund request is approved, the refund will be processed through the original payment method wherever possible. After approval, the refund may take approximately 7 to 10 working days to reflect, depending on the payment gateway, banking partner, card issuer, UPI platform, or financial institution involved.
7. Payment Gateway and Banking Delays
Edutechra Foundation is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateways, banks, card networks, UPI systems, or other third-party financial service providers after a refund has been initiated from our side.
8. Donations Eligible for 80G
Edutechra Foundation is registered under applicable law, including 12A and 80G. However, the existence of tax benefit eligibility does not change the refund nature of a donation. Donations are still treated as voluntary contributions and remain subject to this Return & Refund Policy.
